Selecting FTL and LTL
The decision between FTL and LTL is not just based on weight. The volume, number of pieces, compatibility with other cargo, loading method, delivery priority and the risk of additional handling are taken into account. For a bulk shipment, consolidation and terminal stages are assessed, for a full vehicle, vehicle compliance and loading window are assessed.
Route and border
The main crossing and the backup route are re-checked on the date of transport. The plan takes into account road restrictions, driver and vehicle documents, transit rules, weekends and holidays.
