International Road Freight
Road transport provides flexible door-to-door delivery on regional and international routes. Vega Sirius plans route, transport, documents and borders for FTL, LTL and special cargo.
Selecting FTL and LTL
With FTL, a vehicle is allocated for one shipment, which reduces additional stops. With LTL, small lots are combined to optimize cost. The choice is influenced by size, timing, loading conditions and risk of damage.
Suitable transport
An awning, a refrigerator, a container platform and special transport are selected according to weight, size, temperature and loading method. For oversized items, axial loads and route restrictions are checked separately.
Borders and documents
CMR, invoice, packing list and additional product documents are specified before departure. Border congestion, requirements of transit countries and alternative crossings are taken into account.
For calculations, you need loading and unloading addresses, weight, dimensions, number of pallets and date of readiness.
Main road freight lanes
Our core road lanes are Türkiye to Azerbaijan road freight, FTL and LTL between Russia and Azerbaijan and road freight from EU countries to Azerbaijan. Transit through Georgia, the Nakhchivan direction and onward movements to Central Asia are checked separately for each request date.
What the service includes
- Collection from the loading address and booking of suitable equipment (curtain-sider, reefer, flatbed, mega trailer);
- checks of CMR, TIR or transit documents, the commercial invoice and packing list;
- planning of border crossings, transit-country requirements and fallback routings;
- coordination with the customs broker in Azerbaijan and preparation of clearance documents;
- delivery to the unloading address, collection of proof-of-delivery documents and status updates.
What drives the price
Road freight pricing is not a fixed tariff. Every quote reflects the route and distance, FTL or LTL model, equipment type, cargo weight and volume, waiting time at loading and unloading, border and transit charges, seasonal demand, insurance needs and add-on services (packaging, warehousing, customs). That is why no rate card is published here: a proposal is issued once the cargo parameters are confirmed.
How the shipment runs
- Request: addresses, cargo description, weight, dimensions, pallet count, readiness date and Incoterms.
- Proposal: FTL and LTL options compared on total cost, expected timing and risk, sent in writing.
- Confirmation and documents: equipment is booked, CMR and accompanying documents are checked.
- Loading and border: loading, sealing, border crossing and transit status are reported in the agreed format.
- Customs and delivery: import clearance is coordinated and the cargo is handed over at the unloading address.
What we need for a quote
For an accurate proposal send the loading and unloading addresses, cargo description and any available HS code, weight and dimensions, number of pallets or packages, loading method, readiness date, Incoterms and special requirements (temperature, dangerous goods, out-of-gauge dimensions). Build the request with the quote request generator or send it through the contact form.
