To the question “how much does one pallet cost?” It is impossible to answer accurately without details. One pallet with different dimensions, weight, product, address and date creates different transportation and cost models.
1. Exact addresses
Specify the country, city, zip code and loading conditions. Warehouse limitations and special equipment affect the last mile.
2. Size of each place
Please indicate the quantity, actual weight, length, width and height after packing. In air, volumetric weight is important; in LTL and containers, space is important.
3. Product description
Provide name, material, purpose, hazard, batteries, temperature and fragility. The general wording may change the tariff later.
4. Date and priority
Separate the ready date and the required delivery date. A specific deadline is better than the word “urgent.”
5. Incoterms and documents
Specify Incoterms, attach an invoice and packing list. Responsibilities for customs, insurance and delivery should be clear.
