Purpose of the model
The urgent transportation model for valuable cargo combines the selection of the nearest flight with the calculation of volumetric weight, secure packaging, possible battery status, customs readiness and backup flight.
What does the plan include?
- Actual and dimensional weights, seat dimensions and aviation compatibility testing.
- Battery and dangerous goods status, packaging and labeling.
- Main and reserve flights, cut-off, pick-up and terminal plan.
- Insurance value, customs documents, secure transfer and confirmation of acceptance.
Adaptation data
We need the dimensions and weight of each item, description and cost, data on batteries and MSDS, collection address, ready time, deadline for acceptance and customs readiness of the recipient.

- Planning problem
The earliest flight is not always optimal: without taking into account cut-offs, volumetric weight, battery rules, customs documents and the last mile, the cargo may wait in the terminal. The time plan covers all stages.

- The cargo details, cost, hazardous status and acceptance deadline are confirmed.
- Flights are compared based on total door-to-door travel time and risk.
- Packaging, insurance, paperwork and safe transfer procedures are completed.
- The backup option and escalation contact are selected when there is a flight change or delay.
